Dr Xavier Sevilla
M.D FAAP
Medical School: King's College London, University of London
Residency: University of South Florida and All Children's Hospital
Dr. Sevilla has been living in the Lakewood Ranch area since he moved to Manatee County in 1999. He has practiced Pediatrics in Bradenton where he won several national awards including the “2003 Quality of Care Award” from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the 2003 Louis Potter Hill Award from the Florida Association of Community Health Centers.
Dr. Xavier Sevilla is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has appeared extensively in the local METV channel , as well as Bays News 9 (en espanol) and Univision channel talking about children’s health related issues.
He also has been appointed to several national leadership committees with the American Academy of Pediatrics .
He has two children with his wife Maria who is an elementary school teacher. He enjoys sports (especially tennis) good food and living out East .
Jennifer Bordner RN
Jennifer is originally from New York City. She is a Registered Pediatric Nurse with an extensive experience in Pediatrics. She has worked at Manatee Memorial Pediatric Unit and had completed the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course. She has 2 children Jacob who is 3 years old and Makayla who is 9 months old.
Jen enjoys playing outdoors at the park as well as going to church.
Vernisha Evans RECEPTIONIST
Vernisha works as our super receptionist / medical records in the office. She is working on a BA in Business Administration and really enjoys amusement parks and traveling.
Parent Advisory Panel:
This is a group of volunteer parents from the practice that meets once every 3 months and gives feedback to the practice on how Whole Child Pediatrics is doing and what could be improved from the parent’s perspective. ANYBODY can become part of the Parent Advisory Panel if we are your child’s Pediatrician.
